Melodi N. Reese-Holley, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Melodi N. Reese-Holley was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended the Xavier University of Louisiana, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She was awarded her Doctorate of Medicine in 2010 from the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center of Dallas. She completed an Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident her final year of training. During her residency, she was highly recognized, receiving the Resident Research Award in 2012, Outstanding Resident Teacher Award in 2013, and two awards in 2014. The AAGL Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery Award and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.
She is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Also, She holds professional memberships in the Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, American Medical Association, and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Reese-Holley joined Omega Ob-Gyn in 2016. Her scope of practice includes routine and high-risk obstetrical care, well-woman care, contraception management, gynecology, and minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical procedures. She has a special interest in patient education to be active participants in their well-being and make informed healthcare decisions.
Dr. Reese-Holley enjoys spending time with family, traveling, crafting, Pure Barre, and Dallas Cowboys football in her spare time. She and her husband, Terry, reside in Grand Prairie and are the proud parents of two young children, Laihla and Vincent.
