Stephanie Pickel, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Stephanie Pickel is a native of Arlington, where she grew up and attended Lamar High School. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and obtained a degree in Psychology. Dr. Pickel received her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She continued her education in residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Southwestern Medical Center at Parkland Hospital. She received the prestigious Excellence in Obstetrics Award in 2009.
Dr. Pickel is honored to be a part of Omega Ob/Gyn and work alongside her father, Dr. John Pickel. Board-certified since 2011, she is dedicated to providing quality women's healthcare to her patients with a gentle bedside manner. Her areas of interest include preventative medicine, high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Pickel resides in Dallas with her husband, Matt Rosen, and their daughter. She enjoys international travel and has competed in several triathlons. Dr. Pickel and her family can often be spotted at White Rock Lake on the weekends with their yellow lab, Maverick.
